On April 19th 2013 Community Place held “The Art of Giving” at the Memorial Art Gallery. It was a wonderful evening full of music, dancing and fun. The 130 people in attendance helped us to raise approximately $11,000 to support our neighborhood based programs. The night began with opening remarks from Mayor Thomas Richards and was brought to life by our host – Channel 8’s Maureen McGuire. Together we celebrated the work being done by Community Place and the people who make it happen – those who make “Giving an Art!”
